Our Spring flush - the premium harvest for most tea varieties is upcoming. Don't miss the chance to get the most premium teas of the year by pre-ordering now!

MUNG BEAN CAKE

Mung Bean Cake is a traditional dessert from Hai Duong, Viet Nam. This cake in the form of small cubes has had a long history from the beginning of the 20th century. Bao Dai - the last emperor of Vietnam gave this delicacy its Imperial Golden Dragon Seal thanks to its wonderful taste.

The sandy texture in harmony with the seductive scent of grilled mung bean offer you a delicate dining experience. The slightly sweet taste of this authentic cake will subtly accompany the low astringency character of green tea.

Over time, we adapted the recipe by creating a new modern flavor such is the taste of match

Traditionally, these sweet little cubes are enjoyed with a cup of green tea!

OUR VALUES

Green Bridge is an importer and distributor of High-end Organic Vietnamese Teas, based in Paris. But it is much more than this. We have selected Shan teas from old wild tea plants growing in the provinces of Ha Giang, Lao Cai and Yen Bai, in the north of Vietnam. These regions are the most isolated and are populated by minorities such as the Dao, H’mong, Tay and other 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam. The twisted branches of the wild centenarian tea plants, give to the landscapes a unique beauty. The locals are loyal to their traditional tea production processes whose they kept for centuries. The rarity of the tea plants and the traditional handwork bring the original quality and the exceptional tastes of the tea. Promoting these teas in the world is a way to help the development of these isolated regions where the inhabitants are the poorest of the country.

OUR VISION

Green Bridge had been created to be the bridge which brings high-end, rare and precious Vietnamese teas to your customers, and allowing isolated locals to earn decent revenues. It is a true social project to improve the local life as a respresentative who share a culture story, my origin and my pride.
